In times of trouble and hardship I come back to the places which matter, to love and warmth, to deep joy and meaning and therefore to what is possible within myself, while the outside world might not be functioning the way I would wish it to be.
These inner places I call the “soft places”, a place I can create within myself to arrive, to feel hugged and held, as if sinking into the most comfortable hug imaginable.
